Quick Summary:

P1,250 per subject if graduate; P750 per subject if undergraduate inclusive of handouts. If full course (6 subjects) P7,500 and P4,500, for graduates and undergrads, respectively.

Detailed Answer:

The whole CPA board has 6 subjects: FAR, AFAR, AUD (Theory & Problems), MAS, RFBT, and TAX.  It shall be P1,000 per course until Dec. 31, 2019; handouts is at P250/course. It shall be P1,000 plus 12% vat per course starting January 1, 2020, subject to any price adjustment anything as management sees fit.

Notes: a.) FREE Courier cost to deliver anywhere in the Philippines if you avail Full Review Package; b.) Pre-board handouts [hard copies] are given only to full review contracts.

If 1 subject only: Pay P1,250 inclusive of the handouts for 1 subject and pay courier cost of P300 for delivery to anywhere in the Philippines. So, total of P1,550.00. **On January 1, 2020, the center shall be VATable which means we shall add VAT only on the Course fee. The handout and courier costs shall be mere reimbursements [non-VAT Acknowledgment Receipt may be provided upon request].

If 2 subjects only: Pay P2,500 inclusive of the handouts for 2 subjects and pay courier cost of P300 for delivery to anywhere in the Philippines. So, total of P2,800.00. [** same note here..]

If 3 subjects: Pay P3,750 for 3 subjects and pay courier cost of P300 for delivery to  anywhere in the Philippines. So, total of  P4,050….so on and so forth. [** same note here..]

All courses/subjects are now uploaded and accessible since October 5, 2019. We shall upload videos for May 2020 CPALE as classes happen. Upload will be a week or two after.

2. How to pay?

Answer: We have updated our payment gateways to include PayPal and Manual Payment Process which is via direct deposit to our bank account/s. These are the only schemes yet available as of this writing. Maybe we can include GCash or Mastercard in the near future.

4. Is there installment scheme?

Answer: We do not offer installment payments as of now.

5. When is the start of class?

Answer: The start of the Face-to-Face (F2F) CPA Review for May 2020 CPALE is  on Oct. 26, 2019. If you are asking about the Online CPA Review, we upload/update the videos and handouts based also on May and October start-and-end of the usual F2F reviews. But, in reality, any student/reviewee can register anytime even in the middle of the review period e.g. July, he/she will still be given 6 mos. access upon payment [give us 48 hours to provide access, holidays and Sundays not counted]. We shall load 2.5 review periods moving forward. Thus, if for example, you availed in July, your access will expire in Dec/(Jan), the review batch you started to access will still be available for you until end of 6 mos.  We will not delete nor replace those videos & handouts until end of our 6 mos contract.  We shall just load new videos & handouts as classes happen (1 to 2 weeks after the actual class/es). Meaning, approximately a total of 12-15 months review (2.5 batches) will stay in our site at anytime. You shall be secure with your enrolled subjects to complete your 6 mos access.

Illustration:
If you paid in July, you shall take the May to Oct batch, while we load Oct to May next batch, because,  if you shall take the Oct to May batch, we haven’t loaded the Oct onwards in July when you enrolled/paid.But, when you start accessing in July the May to Oct. batch, we shall not delete such batch videos & handouts  even when loading for Oct to May (next) batch is done.  The fact that your access will expire in Nov/(Dec), you shall be able to access during your alloted period based on contract.

If you want to extend access for May to Oct batch for a fee of 50% of original fee you paid, we can do that only until all videos for the next next batch (meaning 3rd batch) have been 50% uploaded/updated.

6. What if I was absent in a certain class?

Answer: This is not a Live Class set up where you have to access from a time and end like a usual class.  What we did is film the recent lectures, so we are daily/weekly uploading them as the size is huge which takes a month for the whole 6 months review.  Thus, in your own pacing, you can take it with handouts and pre-boards with the videos. The access expires after 6 months. We shall give you 1 month extented period as we are yet to upload all the videos.  For now, you may start with everything available in the website. 7. Will it be possible if this will be used in multiple devices? I mean, when I'm at home, I can use my laptop, or phone if I'm away?

Answer:  Yes it is possible but, one device at a time using your user ID and password.

8. Is your schedule for Online Review the same as that of the Face-to-Face Review? May and October?

Answer:  You may avail of the Online review anytime of the year. Your access shall expire automatically after 6 months from start of access. We can give 1 more month access extension upon request. To us, it is better to take the Online CPA Review Course “same time” when the regular face-to-face review classes are conducted from May to October and October to May. Please note that this is not a “live CPA review”. We have recorded fully the videos of the recent CPA Review conducted in our center. No requirement to start the access and end on an agreed time with the reviewers. Thus, you may take the review based on your own pacing. You may rewind and forward the videos as you see fit.

9. Do you offer online review program per subject for May 2020 CPALE?

Answer: Yes we offer per subject, minimum of 2 subjects.

10. What if I missed a class in face-to-face CPA review? May I have access to the videos since I am enrolled?

Answer: This course is Online [not Face-to-Face] CPA Review. However, given that we also have a F2F CPA Review, once you are enrolled with us and missed classes, you are entitled to access a maximum of 2 days worth of lectures. We shall give you a 5-day access for each day that you were absent.

Please send your access request to lcrc.mmco.elearning@gmail.com. Access shall be given within 48 hours (holidays and Sundays not counted).

12. If I enroll today, the only topics uploaded were for the October 2019 classes. When will you be updating the videos?

Answer: What we do is to load first the Oct 2019 CPA review lectures so the enrollee may already start accessing. But, we shall load the videos for May 2020 as classes happen which shall start on Oct 26 2019… say 1 week delay..

13. Can I download the PDF file for review purposes?

Answer: Handouts are not downloadable. If you are interested in getting handouts for May 2020 CPALE, what we can do is to print for you and send via LBC/DHL maybe in 3-4 tranches; but, will charge the actual courier cost… A. Pls note that what we have [for now] are the handouts for Oct 2019. B. We do not have yet those for May 2020 as reviewers have yet to update/create them  and send 1 week before they teach.

Thus, I think it is best to use the the videos and handouts for Oct 2019 CPALE. It will usually be a rerun. A reviewer will normally teach the same next batch except when there are updates on the law or standards. When there are, we shall actively provide the latest specific to those subjects and topics.

14. How much are the handouts for full review?

Answer: P1,500; we shall issue a Non-VAT Acknowledgment Receipt when requested [mere reimbursement] inclusive already of the courier cost anywhere in the Philippines. Please refer to question No.1 for complete costing.

15. Is there a discount for JPIAns?

The Answers for No. 15 Q are strictly FOR CURRENT STUDENTS [JPIANs] enrolled from 2019 up to May 2020

Answer: P500 discounted rate offered only to JPIAns (undergraduates).
Requirements: Proof of current enrollment e.g. registration/enrollment card (or equivalent) stamped “Enrolled”, under BS Accountancy program plus valid school ID (back to back) scanned and emailed to us together with proof of payment of our online review courses. 

Effective from Oct. 2, 2019 until further notice/superseded by another announcement by LCRC Management.

Steps:

  • Proceed with the cart and click the P1,000 per course for the subject/s of your choice.
  • Complete the process in No. 3 Question. Send an email to us at

  1. Deposit Slip – Amounting to Pxxxx.xx
  2. Enrollment Card/Registration Card stamped by your respective school with stamp date
  3. Student Identification Card (back to back).
  • Upon Receipt of this email, we shall give you access even when you paid half the tuition fee indicated. Please note that the fee for the handouts is P250/course and the courier is at P300, same cost as those for regular reviewees as these are mere reimbursements of costs.

SCHOLARSHIP MECHANICS:
“first-come-first-serve”

This applies to Under-graduate review, review for May 2020 & Oct. 2020 CPALEs

1. a.) CPA Candidate must belong to a family wherein both parents’ combined earnings is not more than P250,000 per year. Moreover, that he/she has no sibling nor relative who earns income more than P250,000 per year with whom he/she is living and under chief support. Additional supporting evidence can be Income Tax Return (if any).
1. b.) Can be a student/working student but, not a full-time job.

Supported by Affidavit.

2. Birth Certificate which clearly shows Name, Parents’ Name and Birth date.
3. Certificate from the Barangay Captain that he/she lives in a barangay within Laguna, Batangas and Cavite that he/she belongs to a poor and peaceful family, and without any criminal record.
4. Certificate from School that he/she is a graduating students/or a fresh graduate (2019-2020) with a general average of 85% and above or equivalent mark with no grade lower than 80% on any board exam subject, or a consistent Dean’s Lister. Graduating means 4th year college or higher year, as applicable.

Need to secure copies separately (own formats by the barangay and school).

Notes:
a. These are not part of scholarship grant: Handouts, IDs, and water amounting to P2,000 [for F2F review] or P1,500 worth of handouts [for Online review, courier fee included] shall be charged/paid on the first day of classes. b. Secure a Community Tax Certificate (Cedula) from the city hall and pay the notary fee for the Affidavit/Sworn Declaration to any Notary Public in your location.
c. Requirements must be submitted on or before November 9, 2019. If slots are filled up, such application will be processed for next batch.
d. No conditions. They do not need to apply in MM&Co./LCRC even after they passed the CPA board.

f. First come- First serve basis policy. The earlier you submit, the better chance for you to be selected for interview. The policy applies upon every successful interview. For online review and the candidate is outside CALABARZON, Skype, phone call or equivalent meeting/telecon can be arranged.
g. Policies are subject to change every 6-month program or as management finds it fitting. Rules/policy changes after your enrollment shall not affect you. They apply prospectively. You are secure with our commitments, including other freebies like additional resource materials and free attendance to paid seminars (as available), during the 6 month period you are enrolled in.
